Conference-room echo can have both electronic and acoustic causes. Start by checking microphone and loudspeaker placement, microphone pickup levels, DSP settings and acoustic echo cancellation. If the room has hard floors, glass, exposed walls or other highly reflective surfaces, acoustic treatment may also be required to reduce reverberation. The best result usually comes from addressing microphone placement, loudspeaker coverage, DSP configuration and room acoustics together.
